Although I was born in Wyoming, I’ve lived in Colorado the better part of sixty years, so consider myself a native of the Columbine State, living in the high Rockies, at 10,000 feet, for the past 20+ years.

I’ve been writing since grade school but just began to think of myself as “a” writer about ten years ago. Since the only things in the world dearer to me than writing are my children and grandchildren, I want my kids, grandkids, and writing to be the focus of my sunset years (and, I’m hoping that sun takes at least another twenty years to set!).

A brief recap of my resume stats: BS degree in History (earned forty years ago), small business owner, two years writing monthly article for small, weekly newspaper, community and political activist, and public policy/government budgets wonk.
